Questions owners ask
Closed companies
The company is closed. Who can agree to this?
Whoever now controls the company's assets. That may be the former directors, a liquidator, administrator or trustee, or a company that bought the assets. If a liquidator or administrator has been appointed, they usually decide, not the founders. If you are not sure, find out before you apply.
Can we license chat history that mentions staff and customers?
Only within the law that applies to the data, such as GDPR, UK GDPR or Singapore's PDPA, and any contracts the company signed. The program sets its own data terms with you. We are not a law firm, so have counsel or the insolvency practitioner check first.
What is it worth?
The program publishes a company range of $100K to $2M+ for approved data. The amount depends on how much data there is and how specialized the work was. Our range is indicative only and not an offer.
For everyone
Why are there two fit checks?
Our partners run separate programs. One is for operating companies with 30 to 200 staff and well-documented operations. The other is for companies that have closed, had 50+ staff at peak and kept their Slack or Teams history. Each check uses that program's public criteria and sends you to that program's own application.
Am I selling my data?
No. The AI programs we refer to license data. Your company keeps ownership, and the license terms are agreed directly between you and the program.
Is the estimate a quote?
No. It is an indicative range based on the programs' public figures and your answers. Only the program can make an offer, and it decides acceptance, scope and price.
Who is AI Input and how are you paid?
AI Input is an independent referral service. We are independent of the AI programs we refer to and do not work for them. If you apply through our referral link, the program may pay us a referral fee under its own terms, separate from any company payout. We do not charge companies.
