Terms
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These Terms cover your use of this website (the "site"), how we handle personal data, and how we are paid. They have three parts: Terms of use, Privacy and Referral fee disclosure. By using the fit check or ticking "I agree to the Terms", you accept them.
1. Terms of use
Who we are
AI Input ("we", "us") is an independent referral service for businesses, mainly mid-market companies in the United States. We introduce companies to third-party programs that license operational data for AI training ("buyer programs"). We are not a buyer of data, and we are not the agent, employee or legal partner of any buyer program. We are not a law firm and do not give legal, tax, data protection or financial advice.
Estimates are not offers
The fit check gives an indicative label and range based on buyer programs' public information and your answers. It is not an offer, quote, valuation or promise that any buyer program will accept you or pay you any amount. Only the buyer program decides acceptance, scope, price and terms. Actual outcomes may be lower than the range, or nothing at all. Any referral fee we receive is paid by the buyer program under its own terms and is separate from any payout to your company (see Referral fee disclosure).
Your application and any license
You apply to a buyer program directly, on its own form and under its own terms. Any license or other agreement is solely between your company and the buyer program. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for the buyer program's decisions, payments, conduct or handling of your data. Read the buyer program's terms and get your own advice before signing.
You are responsible for making sure your company has the right to license any data, including under contracts with customers and suppliers, confidentiality obligations, employment terms and data protection laws.
Contact and introductions
When you submit your details and agree to these Terms, you consent to us using your name, work email and company to contact you about your enquiry, send you the official application link, follow up on your application, and tell you about buyer programs that may suit your company. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, as the US CAN-SPAM Act requires, and you can withdraw this consent at any time (see Your rights).
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully and give accurate information. Do not submit other people's details without their permission, misuse the forms, or try to break or probe the site's security.
Liability
The site and estimates are provided "as is" for general information. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost opportunities, or any loss from relying on an estimate or from a buyer program's acts or omissions. Our total liability to you is limited to US$100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms; the date above shows the latest version. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here removes rights you have under the mandatory laws of the place where your company is based.
2. Privacy
This section explains how we collect and use personal information from business contacts who use the site. The site is for businesses and is not directed at consumers or anyone under 18. We collect business contact information only, and we handle it in line with applicable US federal and state privacy laws.
What we collect
- Fit check answers: employee band, headquarters location, share of English documentation and where your team's work lives. We keep these even if you do not leave your details.
- Details you give us: name, work email and company, plus your agreement to these Terms and when you gave it.
- Campaign and usage data: the UTM parameters and referring site you arrived from, and funnel events such as starting the fit check or clicking the application or booking link.
- Two first-party cookies:
fsid, a random session id kept for up to 180 days that links your visit, estimate and details, andfutm, which stores campaign parameters for up to 30 days. Neither contains your name or email.
How we use it
To show your estimate, contact you as described in Contact and introductions, track whether referrals are credited, measure which campaigns work, keep records of consent, and keep the site secure.
Who we share it with
- Buyer programs: we do not send them your contact details. You apply to them directly. They may tell us whether a company referred through our link applied, was accepted or was paid, so referral fees can be calculated.
- Service providers that host the site, database and notifications for us, under contract.
- Authorities or advisers where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. No advertising pixels or third-party trackers run on this site today. If we add them, this section will say so.
Where data is processed
Our service providers store and process data in the United States and in other countries where they operate, under contracts that require them to protect it.
Retention and security
We keep contact details and related records for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or longer only where needed to settle referral fees or meet legal obligations, and then delete or anonymise them. We use reasonable security measures, including encryption in transit and restricted, logged admin access. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and any authorities as applicable US state breach-notification laws require.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you, at any time. Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia or other states with privacy laws), you may have additional rights; we will honor requests as those laws require, and we will not treat you differently for making one. Email hello@ai-input.org with your request. We aim to respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.
3. Referral fee disclosure
We want you to know how we are paid before you decide anything.
- Buyer programs may pay AI Input a referral fee if your company applies through our referral link and, depending on the program, is accepted or completes a deal. The amount and whether it is paid are set by the buyer program under its own terms. We have a financial interest in you applying through our link.
- Referral fees are paid by the buyer program and do not come out of any payout to your company. We do not charge companies anything.
- Programs credit referrals only when a company applies through the referrer's link, which is why we ask you to use the "Continue to official application" button.
- You can always apply to any buyer program directly without us. Our fit check is the same whether or not you apply.
