Privacy Policy

Effective date: 25 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information AI Input collects, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website, ai-input.org, and the lead forms we run as Meta ads on Facebook and Instagram. Our Terms cover everything else about using the site.

1. Who we are

AI Input ("we", "us") runs ai-input.org, an independent referral service. We help operating and closed companies check whether they fit third-party programs that license business data for AI training ("AI training partners"), and we can refer them to those partners. We never receive or handle a company's data itself. The site is meant for businesses and the people who act for them. It is not aimed at consumers or anyone under 18.

Questions or requests: email hello@ai-input.org.

2. What we collect

Fit check answers and estimates

When you take the fit check we store your answers (whether the company is operating or closed, company size or size at peak, years in business, location, how much of its data is in English and, for closed companies, which chat tool it used) together with the result we showed you: the fit level and the estimated range.

Contact details

Your work email, and, if you choose to add them, your name, company and role. We also record that you agreed to our Terms, the wording you agreed to and when.

Meta Instant Form leads

If you fill in one of our lead forms inside Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes your submission to us through its lead ads integration. We receive your answers to the form's questions (company size at peak, years in operation, chat tool and whether most of the data is in English), your work email, any other details the form asked for, such as your name, and Meta's details about the submission: the lead and form ids, the time, the platform and which ad, ad set and campaign it came from. We keep a copy of the form answers exactly as Meta sent them.

How you reached us and what you did

The campaign tags in the link you arrived from (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), Meta's ad click id (fbclid) if present, the referring site, the page you landed on, and steps such as starting or finishing the fit check, submitting your email, clicking through to apply or booking a call.

Cookies

  • fsid: a random session id that links your visit, fit check and details. Kept for up to 180 days.
  • fxid: a one-way hash of that session id, used so Meta can match browser and server events for the same visit. Kept for up to 180 days.
  • futm: the campaign tags and ad click id from your first visit. Kept for up to 30 days.
  • aidemo: set for the browser session only, and only if you open a demo link.
  • When the Meta Pixel is on, Meta's own _fbp and _fbc cookies.

None of our cookies contain your name or email. We do not use Google Analytics or Vercel Analytics.

IP address and browser details

Your IP address and user agent reach our servers with every request. We use them to filter out bots and to pass to Meta with the events described in section 5. We do not store them in our database; we only store the reason a visit was flagged as a bot, if it was. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived request logs that include them.

3. How we use it

  • To show you your fit result and estimated range.
  • To contact you about your enquiry: send the link to apply, follow up, answer questions and tell you about AI training partners that may suit your company. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To check whether a referral was credited and settle referral fees.
  • To see which ads and pages bring real enquiries, and improve them.
  • To keep records of consent, keep the site secure and keep bot traffic out of our numbers.

4. Who we share it with

  • AI training partners, when you choose to apply. If you click through to a partner's application form, we send you there through our referral link and may fill in your name and work email on that form for you. You then apply on the partner's own site, under its own terms and privacy policy. The partner may tell us whether a company we referred applied, was accepted or was paid, so referral fees can be worked out. We do not send your details to a partner unless you click through.
  • Service providers that run the service for us under contract: Vercel (website hosting), Neon (database), Resend (internal notifications about new enquiries), our email provider (messages to and from hello@ai-input.org) and Cal.com (if you book a call).
  • Meta, for ads measurement, as described in section 5, and as the source of Instant Form leads.
  • Authorities or professional advisers, where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Meta ads measurement

We use the Meta Pixel (a Meta script that runs in your browser) and the Meta Conversions API (the same kind of events sent from our server to Meta) to measure which ads work and to show our ads to similar businesses.

  • What is sent: page views; events such as finishing the fit check, submitting your email and clicking through to apply; the fit level and which check you used; the campaign tags and ad click id; your IP address and user agent; and Meta's cookies. When you have given them, we also send your email, name and country, but only as one-way hashes, plus a hashed version of our session and lead ids. We do not send your fit check answers or company name in readable form.
  • Later steps: we may also tell Meta when an enquiry moves forward, for example when we judge it a good fit or you click through to apply. For Instant Form leads these updates are keyed to Meta's own lead id and your hashed email.
  • Opting out: turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser and we do not load the pixel or send these events from our server for your visit. You can also block third-party cookies, change your ad preferences in your Meta account, or email us.

Meta uses this data under its own terms and data policy.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact details, fit check results and related records for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or longer only where we need them to settle a referral fee or meet a legal obligation. Then we delete them or strip out anything that identifies you. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will, unless we have to keep something by law.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Only our servers and our admins can reach the database. The admin area needs a password, and admin actions are logged. Webhook calls from Meta and Cal.com are checked with a signature before we act on them. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you and the authorities where the law requires it.

Our providers store and process data in Singapore, the United States and other countries where they operate.

8. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct it;
  • delete it;
  • stop sending you emails (use the unsubscribe link or tell us).

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, Singapore's PDPA or US state privacy laws (for example California's) may give you further rights, such as objecting to how we use your information or complaining to a regulator. We will not treat you differently for asking. We may need to confirm it is you before acting, and we aim to reply within 30 days.

9. Contact and deletion requests

Email hello@ai-input.org with your request. To have your details deleted, send it from the email address you gave us, or tell us that address, and we will remove your records and confirm by reply.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date above.
